Your new role

A Business Partner Digital Portfolio Management spends their day meeting with technical product teams and product managers, analyzing financial data, providing portfolio updates to senior management, and driving the global business plan. You start your day fully energized to get things done as a member of an international team. As financial partner to the technical head of your portfolio, you act as entrepreneur to drive all the financial aspects of your digital products. From Maintenance and R&D planning to Business case evaluation and Sales pipeline, you are analyzing financial data, owning the product financial data and supporting in business decision making. While there is a familiar rhythm of forecasting and reporting, each day will bring new challenges and topics. One day it could be pricing strategy and product financial data management (EPDH), and the next working with regional business to evaluate the pricing of a bid. You end your day knowing that the products in your portfolio are leading the energy transition and shaping the future of Siemens Energy.


What you'll need to succeed

  • University degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Long term experience in Finance or Controlling and basic knowledge of the power generation market
  • Knowledge of Reporting and Controlling. Expertise and/or very good knowledge of Excel, SAP, Tableau and SAP Analytics Cloud tools (Microsoft Suite, SAP, Tableau, Alteryx experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, networking, time management and negotiating skills
  • Business fluent in English, fluency in German will be a plus
  • Ability and desire to plan, control, and contribute to solving complex problems, as well as the ability to identify issues and resolve them proactively and independently
  • Knowledge of advanced business models would be a plus (“pay as you save”, subscription models for cloud based digital solutions)
